Regional event in person in Valencia: “Food Waste in the Fruit and Vegetable Sector. Challenges and Opportunities”

We invite you to the in-person meeting of the Ethical Trade Forums entitled “Food Waste in the Fruit and Vegetable Sector. Challenges and Opportunities”, which will take place at the AZZ Valencia Congress Hotel & Spa (C/ Botiguers, 49 Parque Empresarial Táctica – 46980 Paterna, Valencia), on Thursday, November 6, 2025, in the morning, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CET).

The event, open to all companies in the sector and stakeholders who wish to attend, will feature the roundtable “Food Waste: Connecting Legality, Challenges, Learning, and Opportunities,” with expert speakers such as the Espigoladors Foundation, Surexport, and Adesa, among others.

During the meeting, industry best practices will be shared, supported by AM Fresh and other initiatives, showcasing exemplary actions in reducing food waste and improving the environmental and productive resilience of the agricultural sector.

Additionally, a collaborative workshop will be held, in which attendees will work together to design practical and effective strategies to help address the challenge of food waste.

The meeting will conclude with a discussion session, opportunities for collaboration within the Ethical Trade Forums, and a snack to discuss the day.
