In this seminar, we will delve into the impact of heat stress on workers and review protection strategies in the face of a changing climate.

In this online session, we will continue the seminar held in 2024 on this topic. We will revisit the work carried out by La Isla Network on heat stress in a very demanding environment, such as sugarcane fields in Nicaragua. This time, we will focus on the conclusions obtained from that project, as they are applicable to the risks faced by farm workers in Europe.

We will also feature G’s, who will share their experience with the heat stress management project they are implementing on their farms.
