The Ethical Trade Forums have launched a new Working Group dedicated to the management of absenteeism in the fruit and vegetable sector. The initiative aims to bring together industry professionals to analyze this challenge and develop practical and applicable solutions.
The group has been created to share experiences, identify the real causes of absenteeism and design measures to help reduce it through a balanced approach based on four pillars: control and monitoring, work organization, regulation of sociocultural absences, and shared responsibility and attendance incentives.
The planned areas of work include improving absence management protocols, planning seasonal campaigns and staff replacements, preventing irregular absenteeism, and designing incentives that promote employee commitment and retention.
The initiative already includes the participation of Alimer, Martinavarro, Vicente Giner, AM Fresh, Agromark and Campos de Granada, whose experience and expertise will help develop shared solutions for the entire sector.
The Ethical Trade Forums invite more associated companies to join this collaborative initiative. Participation is particularly aimed at Human Resources professionals, although representatives from other areas related to people management and operations are also welcome.
