The director of Ethical Trade Forums attends the 1st International Day of Reflection on the Agricultural Environment of Huelva

The director of Ethical Trade Forums, Sergio Barberá, attended this conference in which prominent national and international speakers gathered to reflect on the social and environmental impact of the red fruit agricultural industry in Huelva.

The 1st International Day of Reflection on the Agricultural Environment of Huelva was conceived as an international meeting aimed at questioning the productive logics that dominate the global market and its impact at a local and global scale on the social and labor relations of workers and the relations environmental.

Organized by Mujeres 24 H, the Multicultural Association of Mazagón, Huelva Day Laborers in Struggle, Ecologists in Action Huelva, the Andalusian Association for Human Rights APDHA, Alliance for Solidarity-Action Aid, Andalusia and Huelva Acoge and the magazine La Mar de Onuba, with the collaboration of Intermón-Oxfam and the Andalusian Agency for International Cooperation and Development of the Junta de Andalucía, and the Huelva City Council, the conference served to put on the table the environmental and social challenges that must be faced, among that highlight the socio-ecological transition and the working conditions in terms of precariousness and vulnerability faced by seasonal workers.
