“Team management skills for supervisors and conflict resolution. Work teams motivation”

On the afternoon of Wednesday 27 October, the online seminar “Team management skills for supervisors and conflict resolution. Motivation of work teams” was held with the attendance of 86 attendees.

Rosa Torres, Professor of the Department of Communication and Social Psychology at the University of Alicante, delivered the content of the first part which began with an introduction to the skills of managing complexity, as part of the role of supervisors. Then she went on to explain the importance of capacity, interaction and empathy oriented skills for the management of discomfort, for the communication of reality, to prevent and manage conflicts and finally, for motivation.

With the motivation topic, the second part of the session was delivered by Carlos González, executive manager and consultant of the company Emphatic Warriors.

In a very dynamic and interactive way, Carlos shared with the attendee a several questions about the meaning and motivation factors that were answered through an APP, and on which the content of his presentation was developed, reaching conclusions about its impact on team management.

The conclusions drawn from the evaluation survey were very positive, both in terms of the content of the subject matter and the experts who gave it.
