The Open Days have historically been held as part of the Ethical Trade Forums, initially organized as site visits to accommodations within the framework of working groups. In the second half of 2024, the Environmental Sustainability Working Group relaunched them with a new strategic approach, aimed at offering an innovative way to showcase best practices within the Spanish fruit and vegetable sector. This format, which goes beyond traditional presentations at events or online seminars, seeks to create much more hands-on, engaging, and enriching experiences, and is open to all working groups and organizations that wish to present their initiatives and share their knowledge with the sector.

These visits bring together a small number of participants, all members of the Ethical Trade Forums Association, who visit host companies directly committed to environmental sustainability. There, the people responsible for each project share their initiatives and insights firsthand, offering a practical and inspiring perspective that helps highlight the sector’s progress.
