We are immensely happy with the applications and their use in our production processes, they have made us improve in all aspects of these processes, the result is an improvement in the quality of our work, improvement in our processes, in the times used, in the costs of these processes, in the service to our partners and therefore in the general health of our company, in addition to the very important reduction in waste that this has entailed.
Summary of the initiative and results
In 2020, the El Ciruelo Quality Team established a work plan together with the Flexygo Development Managers to develop the necessary modules to computerize the Comprehensive Food Safety and Quality Control through the Quality Timeline. The main objective was to create an easy and simple system of applications for mobile devices (mobile Apps) to optimize the Quality work in warehouse / plant and an Information Manager (backoffice) so that the Technical Quality Managers can manage all the information of raw material, finished product, labeling or phytosanitary specifications. It is also important that all inspections and controls carried out in a control panel (Dashboard) are available in real time and to be able to establish indicators (KPIs) based on the key data entered in the system and control their evolution. Flexygo Development helps us with Continuous Improvement in the company (giving us a Flexible and configurable tool by company personnel to establish quality and food safety criteria in the same software.
