During February we have trained new workers in the use of Canal Foros, the mechanism for grievance management specially designed by the Ethical Trade Forums for the Spanish agri-food sector.
On this occasion we traveled to Huelva to visit two companies that had already implemented the channel in 2023, but due to changes in their structure and personnel, required a new visit.
On Wednesday, February 12, we visited the facilities of Lucena Fruit, where we trained 70 workers and 1 internal trainer, who is also the manager of the channel, in charge of ensuring the proper functioning of Canal Foros within the company.
On the other hand, on Thursday, February 13, we were in Almonte, in the company Tierras del Condado, where we trained 123 workers and 1 internal trainer and channel manager.
In both trainings, the participants received information on what Canal Foros is and what it is used for, focusing the work on the resolution of grievance and learning how the tool works. In both companies we had very enthusiastic workers, who participated actively and were able to clarify doubts and concerns about the operation of the platform.
We congratulate Lucena Fruits and Tierras del Condado for giving this new impulse to the use of Canal Foros, and we also thank them for their interest in working on these issues.
