First on-site meetings 2024: Dual modality

“Middle management and sustainability challenge: plastic packaging” is the title of the next on-site meetings organized by the ETF, which will be held on March 20 and April 12, between 9:00 and 14:00 hours. The first meeting will be carried out at the Hotel NZ Luz, in Huelva, and the second at the Hotel Valle del Este, in Vera (Almeria).

These events bring with them an important innovation. At the beginning and at the end of both sessions we will have meetings in which all participants will be together discussing the same issues, while during the development of the event we will change to a dual modality. That is, two different topics will be treated simultaneously, therefore, the participants will have to choose which of the two topics they wish to participate in.

The first topic, related to the environmental area, will deal with an aspect of relevance in these times, since the management of plastic packaging is presented as a challenge that requires a holistic approach, including effective measures, policies, and regulations to drive change towards more sustainable practices.

The second topic will approach another type of challenge, which is related to the difficulty faced by companies in managing their middle management, and the dual role that these positions play within the organization, as they are an intermediate step between workers and management.

Both issues represent challenges in terms of sustainability, one from the environmental point of view and the other from the social point of view. Both converge in a common vision, which states that sustainability must be faced from a broad perspective that includes environmental, social, economic, and labor aspects.

If you are interested in participating, you can register here for the March 20 event, and here for the April 12 event.
