The Spain Suppliers Ethical Trade Forum is driven by the following supermarkets in the United Kingdom; Sainsbury’s, The Co-operative Food, Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Waitrose and ASDA, as well as some Importing Companies in the United Kingdom.

The objective of the Forum is to find an adequate space to share experiences and best practices with other related organizations, comment openly on the challenges and work in collaboration to improve working conditions in the agricultural sector. It is aimed at key operating personnel responsible for managing the welfare of workers in production sites and producer companies.
This event, ‘Motivation of the workers and the retention of talent’, was organized by Conexión Social with the support of a Working Group formed by some Importing Companies and Suppliers. An experience in the theme chosen for this event, Helena Pérez, from the company Improvingworklife, was invited to participate.

“The eventuals are the quarry of the staff and we have to take care of them. There are eventuals that return each campaign “

The venue of the event was kindly suggested by one of the Importing Companies, G’s Fresh, through Sharon Cross, and is located near the coast of San Javier.
