The Ethical Trade Forums are organizing the third visit to companies with best practices in sustainability, to be held in September 2025, after the successful activities carried out in September 2024 and January 2025.
This time we will move to Odemira, Portugal, to the Research Center for Sustainability, created in 2023 by a joint initiative of Driscoll’s, Lusomorango producers’ association, Maravilha Farms and the National Institute of Agricultural Research.
Serving local farmers, the center’s mission is to contribute with technical-scientific evidence that encourages better agricultural practices and more innovative and sustainable methods, especially in water management.
The activity consists of a visit to the farmer Maravilha Farms, of the American group Reiter Affiliated Companies and one of the most representative producers of Driscoll’s in Portugal and Morocco, known for its innovation and ethical and social best practices. It is an excellent opportunity to share knowledge and practices.
The day is designed as an exclusive activity for ETFA associate members, who will be able to acquire new knowledge from field experience and then apply it in their companies.
Places are limited to 15 participants, who will be assigned in order of registration. If you are interested in taking part in this training activity and learning more about sustainable practices in agriculture, reserve your place by sending an email to tecnico@conexionsocial.com
Details of the activity:

- Duration: From 09:00 to 12:00
- Place: Odemira – Portugal
